Game was great....BUT... never again
The pre-game festival and game were fantastic. The wife and I had an excellent time. At 9 pm, we reached the car, but there was no one directing traffic towards the exit. Nobody knew what was happening. By 9:30, we discovered what we thought was the line to exit, but we couldn't move due to pedestrian traffic. At 10, we managed to move only five feet. By 10:30, we had planned our exit after moving just another three feet. At 11, we had to drive on the sidewalk to find a way out (could literally have reached out the window and drunk from the water fountain on the golf course). At 11, we finally found the exit with people directing traffic, but where were they in the golf course maze? We arrived home at midnight after leaving at 9, even though it's only a 30-minute drive from the Rose Bowl to our house. It took us two and a half hours to leave the Rose Bowl. I will never go to this venue again, despite telling everyone about it and being assured it's always the same experience.
